Description

Join Dr. Mario Fucnari as he discusses a major change that is on the horizon.  The AMA and CMS have created new Evaluation and Management (E/M) guidelines starting January 1, 2021.  Learn how the changes will affect your documentation, coding, and reimbursement.  The history and examination criteria will be eliminated.  Find out the new methods to determine the level of E/M service.  The new guidelines will affect every patient, even the cash patient.  Dr. Mario Fucinari, Certified Medical Compliance Specialist, and Insurance Certification instructor will show you current and future documentation needs to help you determine the best implementation strategies before the new year begins. This class is ideal for doctors, staff, billers, and students.

Gregory T - Libertyville, Illinois

"I love Mario and he always has up to the minute info for the profession however, I found this explanation of the 2021 changes to be very confusing...just saying....there needs to be a finer definition of the EM code system. I realize Medicare and AMA have knack for making straight forward definitions/explanations of the coding system overly complex but this is ridiculous....it needs to be broken down so that it is easily understood and not "fuzzy" "

"would have liked to see more video demonstrations illustrating the diagnostic ortho test as well as the treatment procedures as far as showing correct technique. Some were shown and some were not as clear as they could have been."
