Description

Join Dr. Heffner as he discusses how, when, and why to use Electrodiagnostic (EDX) testing in your office.

Electrodiagnostic (EDX) testing, also known as nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG), is a diagnostic tool used to evaluate the function of the nerves and muscles. NCS measures the ability of a nerve to conduct electrical impulses, while EMG measures the electrical activity of a muscle at rest and during contraction.
