E/M Guidelines: Beyond the Key Components

Insurance carriers are increasing the number of audits to ensure that reimbursement is correct for E/M services.  Meanwhile, some are denying E/M services outright when done with the manipulation.  Chiropractors have their own unique set of criteria necessary to perform examinations and to meet the criteria of the 1995 or 1997 E/M guidelines.
