Erika Mennerick, DC, Cert. MDT is a Chiropractic Physician at Trillium Health & Wellness in Elburn, IL. She sees patients ranging from infants through adults with a special interest in pregnancy and postpartum musculoskeletal care. With a love for teaching, Dr. Mennerick spent seven years as an instructor at the National University of Health Sciences and continues to teach seminars throughout the country with the Motion Palpation Institute.
Since becoming certified in 2013, the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) has become the guiding principle behind her patient assessments. McKenzie MDT coupled with Motion Palpation adjusting, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization rehab concepts, and nutritional counseling provide the basis for the evidence-based and patient-empowered care she strives to achieve.
Dr. Mennerick serves on the board of directors of the Illinois Chiropractic Society and is a long-standing member of the American Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Laura Hanson has devoted her career to supporting children's health and well-being. In 1996, upon starting her practice, she observed the swift and positive response of children to chiropractic adjustments, prompting her to specialize in pediatric care. Dr. Hanson's commitment to excellence led her to earn a diplomat in clinical chiropractic pregnancy and pediatrics in 1999, establishing her as an authority in the field.
Recognized both domestically and internationally, Dr. Hanson shares her expertise with healthcare professionals, educators, and parents, focusing on pediatric development through her teachings.
Dr. Laura Hanson, D.C., MS, D.I.C.C.P., NDT, holds board certification in pediatric and chiropractic care and is a neuro-developmental therapist. With a Master’s of Sports Science, specializing in nutrition, she brings a comprehensive understanding of holistic health to her practice. Dr. Hanson has also served as faculty at Palmer College and Life University from 2003 to 2012, further enriching her knowledge and contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals.
Dr. Steele offers a unique approach to achieving optimal clinical outcomes. His presentations are dynamic and interactive, fostering a collaborative learning environment that keeps attendees engaged with a balance of humor and education.
A graduate of Logan College and a board-certified diplomate in orthopedics, Dr. Steele practices privately at Premier Rehab and is a co-founder of ChiroUp.com. Located in the greater St. Louis area, he brings extensive expertise, holding certifications in Motion Palpation, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Active Release Technique, and McKenzie Directional Therapy. Additionally, Dr. Steele is Board Certified in Chiropractic Orthopedics, further enhancing his credentials in the field.
Dr. Illes is a dynamic communicator who brings 15 years of combined clinical and academic experience. She is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College, and her experience includes treating professional athletes with sports related injuries. She is an expert on extremity adjusting and is passionate about educating healthcare physicians. Dr. Illes currently serves as an associate professor at Keiser University’s College of Chiropractic Medicine in West Palm Beach, FL.
Dr. Elise Hewitt Stands as one of the leading authorities in chiropractic pediatrics, dedicating 35 years to enhancing children’s well-being through chiropractic care. Her tenure includes a decade-long presidency of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Pediatrics Council.
Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Western States Chiropractic College (now UWS) and an alumna of the University of Colorado, Dr. Hewitt currently spearheads Logan University’s groundbreaking Master of Science in Integrative Pediatrics, tailored specifically for chiropractors, as its Founding Program Director.
Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Dr. Hewitt received the ACA Academician of the Year award in 2023, Pediatric Chiropractic of the Year by the ACA Pediatrics Council in 2019, and the Rising Star Award from the American Public Health Association’s Chiropractic Health Care Section in 2017. She was also honored as Oregon’s Chiropractor of the Year in 2016 and elected as a Fellow into the International College of Chiropractors (FICC) in 2008.
As a founding member of both the ACA and ICA Pediatrics Councils, Dr. Hewitt advocates for collaborative healthcare approaches, emphasizing the collective effort in optimizing the health and well-being of all children.
