"It seemed to me that it was suggested that the Telemedicine option was being promoted more for it's cash value as a marketing strategy. "Have front office call all patients not seen in a certain time period to arrange a telemedicine appt." I do not believe that was the purpose for allowing telemedicine, but I may be wrong! To me it would be a followup after a face to face visit or when a patient contacts you about a care question."

It was a valuable course and I'm going to review it. There was contradictory information with another source for this that I have so I'm going to see if I can find the 'original source' - which I think they have with BCBS from this seminar. "
