"This course was a terrible disappointment to me. After 50 minutes of inspirational speaking, the handouts were skimmed over in 10 minutes, and a huge opportunity to address current issues important to patients and doctors was missed. Where was discussion of trans pts? Immigrant pts who might be afraid to come to their appts? What is the doctor to do to address these current issues and be "culturally competent"? This course did nothing but check the mandatory CEU box."

"Excellent presentation"

"While I appreciate that the seminar was entirely chiropractic focused, I would have liked to see more information regarding on how to overcome issues such as domestic abuse, hotlines or resources that we can give patients or what to do in those situations. "

"I did not feel as if the seminar was helpful for my clinical practice. It felt as if the information was a repeat from the implicit bias presentation. The speaker did not go into much detail regarding cultural awareness, rather just glossed the very top of everything and moved on. There should have been more information about why different cultures have the beliefs they do, include hotlines, resources, etc."

"It would be nice to discuss ways in which we could avoid cultural bias"
