With Medicare on the verge of requiring each office that submits claims to have and operate under a compliance manual, the time to get started is now. In 2012, the federal government mandated that Medicare providers have a “Compliance Manual.” While these rules are currently only in effect for home health and DME providers, they are likely to be implemented in the near future for other types of providers.
