Implicit Bias: Managing our Unconscious Judgments to Improve Patient Connections and Experiences (2026 Renewal Requirement)
Length: 1 Hour
Join Dr. Pearson as she discusses how implicit bias affects patient care insidiously and can turn the best intentions into unwanted outcomes. This session will focus on managing those biases to improve patient experiences and care. During this session, you will learn strategies to combat stereotypes, act on your awareness of bias, and create empathy for all.
This course was originally presented by Dr. Pearson on December 12, 2023, and sponsored by the Illinois Chiropractic Society.
