Upcoming Changes for ICD10 for FY 2017

Due to a code freeze for several years and the continued need for new or revised diagnosis codes, there will be thousands of code changes for fiscal year (FY) 2017.On March 22, 2016 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the list of diagnosis codes changes for FY 2017. There are 1943 changes to ICD-10-CM codes. A list of new and revised ICD-10-CM codes becoming effective October 1, 2016.
