Update for Certified Medical Examiners - Approaching Recertification in 2022
Length: 1 Hour
Clinton M. Smith, DC, ME is a Federal Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. He has been providing physicals to the essential truck and school bus drivers since the early 1990s. He was also one of twelve clinicians that developed the Federal training and testing material mandated for examiners to become certified in this powerful field of practice. He has trained in person or via his online training system with over 10,000 examiners in all the medical fields. A number of Illinois medical examiners have trained with Dr. Smith, perhaps you are one of those doctors.
How are your exams going? How many are you doing at this time? What effect has COVID had on your testing and exams? Are you performing drug testing? Are you performing breath alcohol testing? How about spirometry? Do you know the drug testing percentage this year for the consortium and non-consortium members? Wow! You need to get an update from the ICS! We are having a one-hour webinar in November that you should take time to enjoy. Updates, reasons, speculations, and problems that you are all experiencing will be addressed. Get ready for the 2022 start of recertification and testing to continue after your first 10-years as an examiner! Join us as Dr. Smith gives you point by point updates to this essential part of your practice.
This course was originally presented by Dr. Clinton (Marc) Smith on November 17, 2020 and sponsored by NRCME Online Training Systems.
