Understanding WC in the Chiropractic Practice Under the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act
Length: 1 Hour

The Illinois Chiropractic Society often receives inquiries about Workers' Compensation, making it a frequently discussed topic. This course aims to help doctors and their staff gain a better understanding of this subject as it pertains to documentation, procedures, and legal aspects.

Drawing from over 25 years of experience in Workers' Compensation, Dr. Carlos Boileve will share his expertise in this course. As a Certified Medical Compliance Specialist and a member of the Medical Advisory Board of the Workers' Compensation Research Institute (WCRI), Dr. Boileve brings a wealth of knowledge. He is also a Certified Insurance Consultant/Reviewer, offering insights into the latest payment requirements.

The course, "Understanding WC in the Chiropractic Setting Under the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act," will cover key topics such as identifying workers’ compensation injuries using the "caterpillar effect," navigating payment under the workers’ compensation act, addressing challenges when settlements mandate payment but carriers refuse, and more.

Attendees of the WC webinar can expect to gain valuable insights and strategies essential for managing Workers' Compensation cases effectively within a chiropractic practice setting.

This course was originally presented by Dr. Boileve on July 9, 2024.
